Training Sessions (Summer 2023)

Cricket training is about preparing your team to give it the best possible opportunity of performing at its optimum level for each match. We all want to succeed and see improvement in our game and that is achieved through regular training. Our training is directly geared toward constant progression in areas such as physical conditioning and match awareness, tactic, etc.

All Stars Cricket starts TBC 2023 for 8 weeks 6 pm to 6:45 pm

All Stars Cricket provides a fantastic first experience for all children aged 5-8 years old where they’re guaranteed 8 weeks of jam-packed fun, activity and skills development. The programme is designed to introduce children to the sport, teaching them new skills, helping them make new friends and have a great time doing so.

Every child that registers will receive a backpack full of goodies. Your child’s pack will include:

Backpack
Cricket bat
Cricket ball
Personalised t-shirt with your child’s name
All children returning to All Stars will receive a kit bag, a set of stumps, a new ball and a personalised t-shirt.

What happens in the event of bad weather?

Adults, parents and carers will be sent a text a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the sessions notifying of cancellations.

What equipment do we need to bring?
You must bring you own equipment (helmet, bat, leg guards, thigh guards, abo guard, spikes and non-spikes). Due to social distancing requirements you must bring your own water bottle, snack with a cap for sunny and waterproof jacket, if cold/wet. 

How do I pay and how much is each session?
Please pay the designated organiser, see above. We try to keep the costs down to ensure cricket is accessible to everyone. Each session will cost £5 per person. The U14 training session on Tuesday's are free of charge.

I would like to try out a training session before committing to paying the full membership? 
We would encourage adults, parent and youths to attend a training session to see if this is right for them, please call in advance and arrange a time with the relevant organiser. The first training session is free of charge.

Indoor net training will take place at Caterham High School from 1-3 pm on Saturday's, starting 25th September.
